We don't have a security team separate from the engineering team. Threat modelling, secure coding practices, and vulnerability awareness are baseline expectations for every role.

Full-Stack Software Engineer

Join CAXiE's engineering team to build and maintain web applications, internal tools, and client-facing digital products. You'll work across the stack — React/Next.js on the frontend, Node.js or Python on the backend — with a security-first mindset baked in from the start.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in React / Next.js and Node.js or Python
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of web security fundamentals
  • Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or Firebase
  • Background in cybersecurity or secure SDLC practices
  • Contributions to open-source projects

Cybersecurity Analyst

CAXiE is growing its cybersecurity practice and needs a hands-on analyst to support client security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and ongoing monitoring engagements. You'll work directly with Xavier on some of our most critical client accounts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a cybersecurity role (analyst, SOC, or penetration testing)
  • Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001 principles
  • Strong written communication — you'll be producing client-facing reports

Nice to have

  • CompTIA Security+, CEH, or OSCP certification
  • Experience with SIEM platforms
  • Understanding of Nigerian data protection regulations (NDPR)
